Join in the fun at the Florida Seafood Festival in the historic town of Apalachicola. Held at the mouth of the Apalachicola river under the shady oaks of Apalachicola’s Battery Park, the festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events, and live music. There will be oyster eating and shucking contests, blue crab races, photo contest, parade, 5k Redfish Run, the Blessing of the Fleet, History of the Festival Exhibit and Tonging For Treasure. The annual Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, returns to the Florida Panhandle this month. Participants will begin with a 2.4 mile Gulf swim around the Russell-Fields Pier, then speed through beautiful Florida pines for the bike loop, and finish with a 26.2 mile run. The Blue Angels close out the season at Pensacola Beach with a handful of aerobatic and stunt pilots performing.
