Melissa Valle is the Marketing Director for The Duran Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida, where she leads branding, content strategy, and digital marketing for Panama City Beach real estate listings. With a background in global communications and media, Melissa brings a strategic storytelling approach that helps showcase properties and connect with buyers across multiple platforms.
Global Brand & Communications Leadership
Despite graduating with a degree in Political Science, Melissa quickly built a career in branding and communications after joining Nike, where she helped establish the company’s public relations department at its Southeast Asia headquarters. She later held leadership roles with global media brands including MTV Networks and Discovery Communications in their Asia-Pacific headquarters.
In her final role at Discovery, Melissa served as Vice President of Communications, overseeing communications strategy for a portfolio of seven television networks — including Discovery Channel and Animal Planet — across 34 countries.
International Media & Event Experience
Throughout her career, Melissa has worked on major international events and media launches, including the 1998 World Cup in France, the first-ever MTV Asia Awards, and the launch of TLC and Discovery Kids across the Asia-Pacific region. Her work also brought opportunities to travel with notable figures and productions, including the late Anthony Bourdain and the Brazil National Football Team.

The Ramsey Solutions’ Foundation in Personal Finance program by celebrated financial guru Dave Ramsey is taught in more than 45% of high schools across the country and has impacted the lives of more than 6 million students. Craig is personally committed to supporting this annual program as he recognizes the importance of teaching financial literacy to young people so they can make smart financial decisions throughout their lives. The Duran Group provides the materials for the year in order for the teachers to teach this course at J.R. Arnold High School.
The Duran Group supports the efforts of our local Habitat for Humanity to build new homes for those in need here. Through CPAR, we make financial contributions to the organization as they seek to provide shelter and help improve the lives of people in our community.
We recognize the importance of extracurricular activities and keeping kids engaged in a positive way. As such, we support youth sports like basketball and volleyball and also are a sponsor of the J.R. Arnold High School band.
