Thursdays through Sundays, experience a mesmerizing display of handmade Chinese lanterns, crafted by skilled artisans with decades of expertise. Ranger-Guided Nature Hike
Camp Helen State Park | Panama City Beach
April 3, 2025, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
 
Join a park ranger on a guided nature hike through Camp Helen State Park and start the year off on the right foot. During the hike, the rangers will share information about the flora and fauna found throughout the park. First Day Hikes are part of a nationwide initiative led by America’s State Parks to encourage people to get outdoors. Hundreds of guided hikes will be organized in all 50 states on New Year’s Day. Stars & Guitars: Clint Black

Celebrated country music artist Clint Black takes the stage at Aaron Bessant Park for an unforgettable evening under the stars. Clint will perform his hits like “A Better Man” and “Killin Time” at this benefit concert with all proceeds going to the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. The 2025 Spring Concert Series kicks off in Lynn Haven with live music every Friday night at Sharon Sheffield Park from March 28 to May 16 (excluding April 18). Enjoy great food and performances from bands like Cadillac Willy, Taste of Spice, and The Krickets in a relaxed outdoor setting. Spring Pup-alooza
Panama City Center for the Arts | Panama City

Bring your furry friends down to the Center for the Arts to meet other friends. There will be kids art projects, facepainting, puppy pools, live music, and an agility course to test your pup’s skills. Join ceramic artist Mary Kay Griffith’s ‘Clay Paw Print’ class (tickets can be purchased HERE with 10% of all proceeds going to a local animal rescue.) History Tour

Go beyond your park visit and discover the past and present on a ranger guided history walking tour of the grounds at Camp Helen. Learn about the rich history of Camp Helen’s Historic District, which is a Nationally Registered Historic Place, from the Hicks family building all the way to when Avondale Textile Mill utilized the property for their employee summer retreat . Sandestin Wine Festival

The 38th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival returns to the Village of Baytowne Wharf with four days of wine tastings, gourmet dining, live music, and interactive experiences. Known as the "Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals," this beloved event features winemaker dinners, grand tastings, and Sunday brunches, making it a must-attend for wine lovers and foodies alike. Tickets start at $90, with options for individual events, including the Grand Wine Tasting on April 11-12. Non-drinking guests are welcome to attend the tastings without a wristband. Pirates Voyage Treasure Hunt

Join the Pirates Voyage and Pier Park crews for a treasure scavenger hunt in Pier Park. Battle for pirate booty at this free event…there will be hundreds of prizes to discover! The fun begins at 11 a.m. on the SkyWheel where guests will pick up their clues at the Pirates Voyage booth. A few chests will contain a pair of tickets to Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show! The hunt ends when all chests are found or the mall closes at 9 p.m., whichever comes first.
 
 
 
Dog Easter Egg

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at the Russell Fields City Pier/Dog Beach! This fun-filled event invites dog lovers and their furry friends to enjoy a morning on the sand while hunting for treat-filled Easter eggs designed just for pups. It’s a great opportunity to socialize with fellow pet owners, explore PCB’s only dog-friendly beach, and watch your four-legged companion sniff out some tasty surprises. The hunt begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends when the last egg is found, so don’t forget your dog’s leash and a basket to collect the goodies. All dogs are welcome regardless of size and breed. 
 
 

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

Presented by The Friends of Camp Helen, kids and their parents are encouraged to explore the beauty of the park while following clues on cards they can pick up from the check-in table upon arrival. Collect all six colors and you can return the cards and eggs to the Historic Lodge for a special prize.  The event will be divided into 3 different age groups: 1-4, 5-7, and 8+. Participation in the event is free with paid park admission $4 per vehicle, $2 per pedestrian/bicyclist.

Celebrate spring with family and friends at the annual Spring EGGstravangza, a family-friendly event featuring egg hunts, games, and activities for children of all ages.
