The Bay County Public Library welcomes a performance headlined by National Award-Winning songwriter Michael R. J. Roth. Presented by the Friends of Bay County Public Libraries, this event requires no reservations and is free to the public.
 
Highlighted as “The One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association, Roth’s original acoustic songs have “the kind of sound that make Nashville writers salivate.” Michael R. J. Roth is a three-time lyric winner of The Great American Song Contest, a lyric winner of the NSAI Song Contest, the Dallas Songwriters Association, the Austin Songwriters Group, and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. ” His song “Gone Gone Gone” written with Eric Ramsey was a Grand Prize Winner (second place) in the 2021 Dallas Songwriters Association Song Contest.

The 2023 Grand Slam Future Prospects Winter Games

Grand Slam Sports Tournaments presents the 2023 Grand Slam Future Prospect Winter Games over two days at the Publix Sports Park. Former Atlanta Braves Ryan Klesko and Damian Moss will be in attendance on Friday night and Saturday morning of the event to provide instruction and sign autographs.
 
 
30A Songwriters Festival

Produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and Russell Carter Artist Management, the 30A Songwriters Festival is in its 14th year of celebrating “hooks, lines and singers” in South Walton over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Over 175+ artists perform over the four day weekend in 30+ venues, all located along the 30A resort corridor on the Gulf of Mexico in Northwest Florida. This year's headliners include Lyle Lovett, the Gin Blossoms, Rickie Lee Jones, Steve Earle, Yola and Morgan Wade.

The Salty Goat Saloon is holding its 7th Annual Polar (Goat) Plunge. The registration fee is $20 and each participant will receive 3 free raffle tickets and domestic draft beer.
