Jam on the Coast 5K
Frank Brown Park | Panama City Beach
June 1, 2024, 7:00 a.m.
 
Jam on the Coast 5K  is back for the 4th consecutive year! Presented by Visit Panama City Beach in conjunction with the Panama City Beach Chamber and Gulf Coast Jam, runners are invited to run through Frank Brown Park and Gayle’s Trails. All runners will receive a moisture wicking shirt, finisher medal and coupon for Gulf Coast Jam merchandise. Post race food provided by Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q. History Tour 
Camp Helen State Park | Panama City Beach
June 1, 2024, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
 
Go beyond your park visit and discover the past and present on a ranger guided history walking tour of the grounds at Camp Helen. Learn about the rich history of Camp Helen’s Historic District, which is a Nationally Registered Historic Place, from the Hicks family building all the way to when Avondale Textile Mill utilized the property for their employee summer retreat . Gulf Coast Jam

The annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is back from May 30th to June 2nd featuring some of today’s most exciting country and southern rock acts. Headliners this year include Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Parker McCollum. 
 
 
 
Veterans Appreciation Day
Man in the Sea Museum | Panama City Beach
June 5, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
This summer, the Man in the Sea Museum is paying tribute to all military veterans and active-duty personnel. Receive free admission to the museum and 15% off all in stock gift shop items. Family members will receive the military rate of $6/person. Celebrate the history of Bay County and the advances in military diving the first Wednesday of every month all summer long. 
 
 
 
Summer Concert Series
Aaron Bessant Park | Panama City Beach
June 6-27, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
 
Hot summer nights are made for music, and the Summer Concert Series has become a beloved summertime tradition in Panama City Beach. Enjoy a free concert in the park every Thursday at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater all summer. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers, pets and food are welcome. Deltaphonic (Funk/Soul/Hill Country Blues), The Lee Boys (Sacred Steel), Paul McDonald and the Mourning Doves (Americana/Soul/Rock), Boukou Groove (New Orleans Funk/Blue Eyed Soul) are scheduled each week in June. Guided Nature Hike
Camp Helen State Park | Panama City Beach

Go beyond your park visit and join Park Ranger staff for a nature hike on Camp Helen’s user-friendly trail system. Learn about the park’s flora and fauna and the larger ecosystem of the Florida Panhandle. This hike is great for all experience levels and requires moderate endurance. Park Ranger guided hikes take place every first Thursday of each month. Free with paid park entry of $4 per vehicle. More information HERE.
 
 
Panama City Ghostbusters “Who You Gonna Crawl” Pub Crawl
Historic Downtown | Panama City 
June 8, 2024, 5.30 p.m.
 
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters movie and the Panama City Ghostbusters are celebrating with a pub crawl! Suit up, grab your proton pack and meet them for a night full of fun. Costumes are optional. The crawl kicks off at Bayside Brewhouse at 5.30 p.m. and includes local haunts throughout including El Weirdo, Millies, The Craft Beer Emporium, Thistle & Thorne, History Class, The Place, Point Break Arcade, House of Henry and ends at Mosey’s Downtown. There are no participation fees but you are responsible for what you consume. 
 
Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

Groove Fest

Get ready for a night you won’t forget as Grown Folk Ent and Destination Panama City join forces to bring you the first-ever Groove Fest. This electrifying event is set to transform downtown Panama City into the ultimate hot spot for music lovers and party enthusiasts alike. There will be soulful live music, DJ sets, a vibrant vendor marketplace, and interactive experiences including photo ops. More information HERE

Bay Point Billfish Open 
Point South Marina | Panama City Beach
June 26-29, 2024, Various Times 

The Florida Panhandles’ largest dock party - the Bay Point Billfish Open - is back! Avid anglers are invited to the Point South Marina for another year of premier sport fishing. There will be live music, an in-and-out-of-the-water boat show, food and drinks, and some big-time sportsfishing, including many of the best teams competing along the Gulf Coast each summer. The tournament will include pelagic species such as blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, dolphinfish, along with catch and release categories for all the Gulf of Mexico Billfish species.
